Orders and Payment

Payment is required when you place an order through the Cool Cartridge website. The payment methods available to you will be shown during checkout.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the products shown in your basket. We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised or there has been an obvious pricing or product information error.

You will receive confirmation of your order using the contact details supplied during checkout.

Products and Product Information

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately and provide useful product, compatibility and condition information.

Product packaging may occasionally differ from photographs shown on the website, particularly where manufacturers update their packaging.

Product condition

Where applicable, Cool Cartridge products may be offered as Brand New or Unused - OEM.

Both options are genuine OEM products. Brand New products are supplied in the manufacturer retail packaging, while Unused - OEM products are unused genuine OEM products supplied without the manufacturer retail packaging. The option offered will be shown before purchase.

Delivery

Free tracked 48-hour delivery is included with Cool Cartridge orders as standard.

A faster 24-hour delivery service is available for £1.99 where offered during checkout.

Products within the same order may occasionally be dispatched separately from different UK stock locations and may therefore arrive in more than one parcel.

Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees and can be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Your Right to Cancel

If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you will normally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase.

For most goods, you can tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods. You then normally have a further 14 days to return them.

To cancel, contact us and provide enough information for us to identify your order. You do not need to provide a reason.

You may inspect the product as you reasonably could in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction for any reduction in value.

Our 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, Cool Cartridge offers a 30-day returns period for unwanted products.

Returns made under this additional policy after the statutory cancellation period must be unopened, unused and in a resalable condition.

We do not accept opened or used products as change-of-mind returns under this additional 30-day policy unless the product is faulty.

Please contact us before returning anything so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights, please contact us.

We may first help with troubleshooting or compatibility checks where appropriate. If the product needs to be returned, we'll provide the relevant instructions.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may include a refund, repair or replacement.

Opening a product does not prevent you from contacting us where there is a genuine fault.

Refunds

Where a refund is due following the exercise of statutory cancellation rights, it will be processed within the period required by applicable consumer law.

For qualifying returns under our additional 30-day policy, refunds will be arranged once the returned product has been received and checked.

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

Prices and Errors

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information displayed on the website are correct.

If we discover an obvious pricing, specification or listing error after you have placed an order, we may contact you before dispatch to explain the issue.

Where an order cannot be accepted or fulfilled because of such an error, any payment already taken for the affected item will be refunded.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so, or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses suffered by a consumer.

If you purchase products wholly or mainly for business purposes, different legal rights and remedies may apply.

Personal Information

We process personal information where necessary to operate the website, process orders, provide customer support, manage deliveries and returns, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

We do not need access to your full card details in order to provide ordinary customer service.

Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the website's original design, written content, branding and other original materials are owned by or licensed to BCMY Ltd.

Manufacturer names, product names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used where necessary to identify genuine products and compatibility.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These may include severe weather, transport disruption, postal or courier disruption, industrial action, network failures, natural disasters, government action or other events that we could not reasonably prevent.

Where such an event affects an order, we'll take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep you informed where appropriate.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.

The terms that apply to an order are normally those in force when the order is placed.
